So last December I made a forum about first concerts and so with my building excitement for Kamelots new album the shadow theory (April 6th!) I decided to make a forum on who your favorite band is or was and your favorite album (doesnt have to be by your favorite band). All Over the World - Electric Light Orchestra
Really feelgood album, sorta a "greatest hits". I love ELO's style, futuristic/sci-fi vibes but with a full orchestra in the background, all playing songs about cowboys and blue skies. Always puts me in a good mood.

Favorite band top 5 in order: testament, tool, pantera, slayer, type o negative and judas priest tie for fifth! Favorite album of all time is october rust by type o negative. Favorite rap album is probably: absolute power or everready by tech n9ne

Having experienced all the great music produced since the 70's, picking a favorite band is just too hard. I'd say it's entirely dependent on my mood. Most iconic album for me would have to be Licensed To Ill - Beastie Boys, as it pretty much defined my youth. Getting to see them with Soundgarden and Metallica at Lollapalooza in the early 90's just further cemented my love for all three bands.
Favorite song ever is an easy choice though, Vicarious - Tool. Listening to Danny Carey play the drums on that song is simply mind-blowing, plus it's the perfect compliment to my favorite Magic color: BLACK! I make it a point to play the song almost every time I play my deck Unhallowed Be Thy Name (despite the Iron Maiden reference, who are also awesome)

Type O Negative (All albums are great) is probably my all time favorite band. I have really been a fan of Machine Head's album The Blackening for a long time (Manson's Mechanical Animals a close second). Machine Head is the type of music made for being really really pissed off, got to love that and it's my go to for any gym time.

Razulghul probably TMI but type o is the best music to fuck to! Those atmospheric organs are so erotic, and not to mention the deep resonating bass tones! Machine head is fantastic, they put on a hell of a live show, if youve yet to see them live, i truly recommend it. I saw em live at the mayhem festival a couple of years ago and it was Robbs birthday show! It was freakin fantastic. My favorite song by machine head is american high, but davidian is a close 2nd.

Bulldawg1310 awesome man, always cool to meet another fan! I have had the good fortune to see them both live at small venues in Portland, Or and they were some of the best concerts I'd ever been to. Type O started with their very first album and went through just about everything, World Coming Down still gives me chills. Machine Head is like fighting a battle haha, mosh pits everywhere and it was my first experience with the wall of death. I couldn't lift my arms after that one and my neck was stiff for days. I'm definitely going to be seeing them again I hope!

As a whole, I love Lamb of God and In Flames (In Flames till Reroute to Remain). And on the album, I'm mixed with Machine Head - The Blackening and Meshuggah - Obzen. Though theres a million bands and albums that could be in here.

Favourite band is the Clouds. Or Veruca Salt. Don't make me choose!
Favourite album is Star by Belly.
It's so ethereal.

I've seen Foo Fighters live a couple of times, too.
I've even seen Dave Grohl beat box (badly) for Beck.

Spend a very pleasant morning listening to y'alls favorite bands and albums. Loved five finger death punch, beasty boys(though I already liked them before haha), type O negative(one of my coworkers favorites) and Foo fighters. Thanks for this, always good to hear great music.

Favorite band over the years has got to be Disturbed with their latest album Immortalized being my favorite. Not a song on there I don't like. Been listening to them since 2005 when I was in high school. Runner up is Five Finger Death Punch. Don't think I have a favorite album from them, since I've enjoyed all of them, but my favorite song by them is definitely Jekyll and Hide.
