I like playing BW tokens too. Really dig the list and my only recommendation is a single Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth for fixing your basic plains and colorless lands to be more useful. +1

If I don't kill my opponent the turn I play Angel's Grace, I've failed. It also protects me from any instant speed damage that would kill me when I go down to one when I swing with Death.

No probs man, its a problem I ran into with midrange/control decks.

I know Swarmyards would double/triple your budget, but they would be soo good!

Loads of nice suggestions mate, need to look into playtesting some later. The enchantments were used at one point, but I removed them for 1v1 games. I swap Shield of the Oversoul and Steel of the Godhead in for multiplayer games though. I think pumping up individual creatures doesn't serve much here, since Alara doesnt affect those. The fliers are very interesting as they tend to be the finishers every time. Thanks man!

Oh thats so sweet, but man that's expensive for a casual deck. Thanks though, I'll def bring them here if I manage to snatch some!

Well I'd have to start including all colors of basic lands with those tutors, so I probably wont since that becomes even more clunky. Every card pretty much requires entirely different colors, so having lands that produce 3+ colors feels a whole lot more consistent than having to tutor for untapped basics. The only turn thats almost mandatory to have all untapped lands is turn 2. On the suggestions Rhox War Monk was replaced by Behemoth Sledge, Woolly seems possible, but still feels lackluster. Gargoyle and Jenara doesnt come close to Mantis Rider or Esper Stormblade for their roles. Thanks for your time.

wyatt0781 This deck is fairly slow, but the only turn thats crucial to have a land enter untapped is for a turn 2 blade. After that it doesnt even really matter what you topdeck, since the deck is both a defender and an aggressor however it plays out. Everything revolves around creature synergies and that can be established slowly in this case, though if I have a semi-lucky draw I can aggro opponent in 4-5 turns. I've had terrible playtests a few times I tried against good and fast decks I've got, but thankfully this list only aims to dominate my friends decks and not the FNM. I've been interested in Mana Confluence for another deck of mine, so if I decide to buy them I'll definately replace some worse lands here. Thanks for your time.
Amulet of Vigor is way too expensive just to have lands untapped in a casual deck. It's definately an interesting recommendation, but damn that price :(

Good call, didn't know a card like that exists. Thanks.

That sounds pretty interesting! Gotta test them out, thanks.

Oh, alright. I don't really play arty decks. With the UW shell and a few tax mechanics already on there, you could tax their creatures too with cards like Ghostly Prison or Sphere of Safety to keep you safe until your wincons present themselves. I'll keep tabs on how this turn out, I've been interested in building blue and artifacts for awhile. Ensoul Artifact can turn your Mox Opals and Springleaf Drums in to wincons btw.. Happy tapping!

Oh, I didn't even think that. It's actually pretty cool! I still recommend other means of winning besides the Etched Champions. Something big that makes use of your artifacts. A finisher is what you're lacking most. And any/all Affinity mechanics ;)

You also don't have any "Enters the battlefield" effects in your creatures, so Saving Grasp just takes up space if you only mean it as a defensive spell. I don't fully grasp the logic in some card choises, but this could become a fun deck to play. Oh and Wurmcoil Engine is good too.

How is this deck affinity, when there isn't a single affinity spell ? I also don't understand the reason for Mox Opal or Springleaf since you cap out at 3 cmc. Atleast take out the Thalias for a finisher like Metalwork Colossus etc.. Ethersworn Canonist is already filling Thalias shoes. Thoughtcast is a staple in affinity I think. Since the strong point of affinity is the ramp to strong stuff through artifacts, I recommend in to looking to these and figure out what you wan't from it: Mycosynth Golem, Chromescale Drake, Myr Enforcer and Frogmite to name a few. Good luck brewing, trial and error.. Trial and error.. :)
