I think Cultural Exchange gets pretty close :)

Yeah, it's sweet. The tail looks vicious though ;)

Holy crappers dude, that's exactly what I was looking for! Also can you remember what kind of wheel effects he was using ? I'm not familiar with the term :/

If only that would return them to my hand, as the wincons require discarding :(
Edit. I might've jumped the gun here, as it has great synergy with quite a few of my cards.

Reya Dawnbringer is actually smaller than a lion.

Decimator of the Provinces is relatively small, compared to the size of the trees around him atleast. Also there is Myojin of Infinite Rage and Myojin of Seeing Winds, but you can only guess their size. Though spirits shouldn't be that big imo. The easiest to compare actual sizes would probably be Blazing Archon, as it seems to be the size of a regular lion.

Yeah, I thought being limited to 2 draws/turn could be the deal breaker, but maybe you could've seen some potential in it. It's all good, this is a sweet brew anyway! :)

I've seen Birds of Paradise being really popular on abzan Tower Defense+Doran builds.

For a beginners deck this looks promising. I too like mono-green/gruul decks the most. I'll list a few cards I've found to be pretty effective against any meta, as they are all tackling some of the more common adversaries.
- Mistcutter Hydra
- Nature's Claim / Naturalize
- Vexing Shusher
- Relic of Progenitus
- Vines of Vastwood
All depends on what your LGS is playing, but those should get you started.

You could just play a different one from the same list. It would guarantee, that you too play a deck simple enough to understand and would allow you to explain interactions from both of your plays.

Would you consider Aggressive Mining ? At some point after reasonable ramping you could possibly start drawing to your finishers faster :)

I'm not sure about all the reasoning either, but Relic has more situational uses. For example Scavenging Ooze etc. that can use both graveyards.

I don't understand Abundant Growth here, since you're mono green ? I guess you think it works like Utopia Sprawl, providing an additional mana when tapped, but it only gives you a draw and the land still provides only 1 mana when tapped. With Growth the land has an option to tap as a forest OR tap as any 1 mana.

True, you can just side mass poly out against moon decks. I've been thinking and I too have trouble finding cuts for Persecution.. The only card slow enough to be considered is Anointed Procession. Atleast playtesting on my token decks it's been too slow when doing nothing on the turn it's played. It suited more against slower decks, but modern is filled with fast paced opponents. It's really a decision based on your meta. I also think Increasing Devotion is a 1-of card.
