Had it in this and an Animar deck for a while but now I think i'll hold it back until I get a landfall deck going. It usually bit me in the butt.

Why not run Green Sun's Zenith , Chord of Calling , and/or Genesis Wave ? The first two are great fetch-into-play tutors. The last can serve as a great way to get things into play, and I feel like it would be good even if hydras which come out with it die on impact.

I am getting a Green Sun's Zenith but the other 2 are pricey. I'm a cheap old man and usually only get expensive cards from packs, not singles. Genesis Wave is an incredible card though and I'll get one some day.

I'll agree that Chord of Calling is expensive (especially since Green Sun's Zenith was banned in Modern), but Genesis Wave is less than $2... half the price of GSZ. Just thought I'd mention it.

Huh, the listings on this site all show the high end cost or foil cost. I thought it was more. Gonna see if Asgard Games has one...they are the cheapest I have found (and in the neighborhood).

How much use do you get from Satyr Firedancer?

Satyr Firedancer worked great actually but he was usually killed early on so i just replaced him with Jolrael, Empress of Beasts (so i can wipe out opponents lands). I could Earthquake and use the Satyr's power to kill some flyers and that was fun (should have been called the Satyr Martyr in my deck...)
