This is a deck idea I saw a long time ago, before Thassa's Oracle was printed. What a stupid card. I take great enjoyment from decks that abuse the command zone as much as possible. This is that to the maximum.
Play Patterns
(Beginning of game: You do not have to, but mulliganing into one of Mystical Tutor, Mana Severance, or Thassa's Oracle can lead to winning the game earlier. Thanks to the London mulligan you can do this as much as you like, or as much is your friends like you, whichever runs out first.)
This is the standard progression in the case that you keep 7 islands and draw only islands:
T1, T2, T3 - Draw card if needed, play island, pass.
T4 - Play Kaho, getting Mystical Tutor and the two other instants.
T5 - On upkeep, cast Mystical Tutor off of Kaho, finding Mana Severance. After drawing it on your draw step play it, leaving in your deck only Thassa's Oracle.
T6 - Draw Thassa's Oracle, play it with countermagic backup, win game.
I am playing Counterspell and Boomerang because of how clean they are, but there are better options, such as Wipe Away and either Overwhelming Denial/Final Word or something like Forbid or Dismiss.
