A more serious look —Dec. 4, 2014

After much play testing and playing against more seasoned players, I have taken a more serious look at my deck. While it is fun and will continue to be so, it needs more tweaking, specifically to abuse Nekusar and other cards. While I still am not looking to make a straight up Nekusar deck because I like Grixis as a whole, the cards Currently in my maybeboard are under serious consideration. Mind Over Matter with Temple Bell or Otherworld Atlas can make Nekusar the game ender; Bloodchief Ascension and Mindcrank yield and infinite win combo; Dream Halls lets me play my larger stuff by turn 5, and tempts people to also discard for the effect, which I can use to my advantage. I'm looking to take out most of the creature focus in this deck now for this. Let me know what you guys think!

m4ver1k I like the idea of Elixir of Immortality for the graveyard cycle, not sure how to fit it in though. So far I have yet to get into a situation where I absolutely need to get my graveyard back into my deck from cycling through it too much. Not too keen on Sorin's Vengeance. It's a good card, but the few life gain cards I have made room for are more consistent and come out earlier. I think with the changes I plan on making as I listed will hopefully help the slower early game I have, if not by speeding it up then by at least cushioning some of the damage.

Lands are great. They make mana for free. Seriously though, missing land drops is giving up a lot of power. I think you should run at least 37 (that's on top of the nonland cards you have that make mana or fetch basics.)
