Cantrip Prowess, Pioneer Red punch you in the face fun!

Play: The key to this deck is the Birgi, God of Storytelling + Burning Prophet combo.

Birgi turns all of the single cost cantrips into free spells that replace themselves, while the Prophet scrys to make sure you draw cantrip after cantrip. Use huge chains to remove blockers, add trample and haste and first strike. All while an occasional flamebreather doles out tons of direct damage.

Ideal play would look something like this.

1.Mountain

2.Burning Prophet

3.Birgi, God of Storytelling  

4.Play an Electrostatic Infantry or Kessig Flamebreather, cantrip out and swing for massive damage.

Outside of a nut draw, with luck a Kessig Flamebreather can partner with Birgi to deal tons of direct damage. The deck still functions well without a birgi draw, just a little slower.

BG: It's 2023 and I haven't touched magic in 5-6 years. It took going back to Phyrexia to pull me back in. First thing I wanted to do was update my old decks.

This is a descendant of my old prowess deck I ran when the swiftspears were in standard, there is a modern version too.

After getting some playtime it did what it's supposed to do, about 1/4 of the time. Good ideas didn't work in practice so I changed things out as I went.

Notably, the Swiftspears, infuriates and Temur rages are gone to add more draw, removal, and make the creature boost more permanent.

Having been out of magic so long I wasn't prepared to have as much time as I have had in pioneer to get things going.

Will update the deck list to match soon.
