Primer Completed and HUGE change —July 10, 2020
So I went to add more relevant info and I went from writing 3 pages to apparently just under 13. It kind of surprised me because it didn't feel like that much, lets just hope it's all quality work.
Anyways, here's some changes I made to the list:
-1 Ashiok, Dream Render, -2 Damping Sphere, +2 Gemrazer, +1 Nihil Spellbomb
What I think is huge about this change to the sideboard is the introduction of the card, Gemrazer. Before, this deck folded to a well timed Anger of the Gods, and did not really have adequate artifact and enchantment removal to deal with cards like Chalice of the Void. After reviewing the potential matchups for the deck, I figured that Damping Sphere did too little against decks that I already had hate for in the side, while also shutting down some parts of the deck, notably the 4 card:twiligt mire and keeping the deck from playing more than 1 of its many 1 drops per turn. There are so many things that gemrazer adds to the deck, and it plays into the deck's plan perfectly while adding something very important- a huge creature for opponents to deal with that has trample and reach, all while dealing with graveyard hate. This card has been really good in testing, and I just want to have more.
