vomitpile. Thank you for the great tips. I have completely Overhauled the deck and I now thin it is tournament ready. I used ideas heavily from your first link. I feel like it has a good balance of control while still being able to end games in different ways.

That seems more well-rounded for sure, Isochron Scepter seems busted with a fog on it

Something like this seems like a good place to start: http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/16-08-14-modern-turbofog/
The mono white one seems like it would be the more consistent one and if you took Leyline of Sanctity out, the deck would be like 50 more bucks than this one at most. I could also see something more focused on ramp being effective, similar to the new standard deck using Nexus of Fate and a bunch of fogs to eventually timewalk/planeswalker the opponent to death. I almost would consider my personal standard deck (Sifter Wurm Control) to be a fog deck because it runs so much removal and relies on lands, Banefire, a few hard to stop creatures to really close games, so that is another direction you could take it. Finding a balance between fog effects, card draw/filtering, and the ability to close games when you need to is pretty key to something that is purely defensive like this. Good luck, there's a lot of room to experiment in decks that run so many redundant effects since the finishers can be almost anything that's difficult to interact with in some way. Hope that helped!
