One of the most insane control decks I've ever come across in the Modern format.

I played against a version of U-Tron years ago and loved the idea of the deck. All these years later I am still intrigued by the archetype and have started to pursue a version of my own.

This is currently a work in progress. I'm a long time Jund player but I like to sink my teeth into a Blue deck once in a while.

For anyone who doesn't know the archetype, Mono Blue Tron typically wins by keeping the opponent off there game plan with bounce/counter spells until able to assemble Tron. The main win condition is to get a Academy Ruins + Mindslaver lock. Essentially locking the opponent out of the game by playing their turns for them in the most self inflicting way possible while beating them to death with big combat threats. Another combo is Academy Ruins + Walking Ballista and just pumping as much mana into it as possible to shoot the opponent.
