Tunnel Vision in EDH
Asked by LikeMike 13 years ago
I wanted to try a combo in my U/B Mill EDH, how it works is: use Spin into Myth to name a creature my opponent controls in assumption that the creature i'm naming is the only copy of that creature in my opponents deck, lets use Verdant Force as an example, i use Spin into Myth to name Verdant Force then i fateseal 2 to put Verdant Force on the bottom of an opponents library, then last i cast Tunnel Vision to name Verdant Force . then in assumption that player has to mill their entire library to find Verdant Force on the bottom and somehow make them draw a card before their next turn starts. Is this elaboration correct in my POV?

Huh. This works fine, brutally well in fact. And then I went to MTGcommander.net expecting to see Tunnel Vision on the banned list because of how well (and how easy) this works. Guess what? It's not. Surprising.
Condemn also combos with it.

Is also helped by any card which lets you Clash with an opponent, forcing them to leave any non basic-land card revealed on top of their deck if they think you might have Tunnel Vision.
Oh and Jace, the Mind Sculptor [;

This combo should work, my friends' deck works on a similar principle.
Another card that works with Tunnel Vision is Reito Lantern .
