The Wanderer vs cleansing nova

So just wondering if The Wanderer would protect creatures from cards like Cleansing Nova or Kaya's Wrath

She doesn't. She only prevents damage, and board-wipes like that don't deal any damage to the creatures that they destroy. She does stop most red board-wipe effects like Blasphemous Act or Chain Reaction though, because those deal mass damage.
