Nissa, Worldwaker

Please link to cards you're asking about using TappedOut's card linking system. If you need help doing so check out the formatting tips page here.

"Target land you controll becomes a 4/4 Elemental creature with trample. It's still a land."

For her first ability what you have to understand is that Types are no exclusive. A card can be both a "Land" and a "Creature - Elemental". Activating her first ability makes a land you control into a 4/4 Creature - Elemental in addition to the land it was before. Now that the land is also a creature is it subject to all the effects that pertain to creatures, such as summoning sickness, lethal damage, and targeted affects that can target creatures.

For example, Murder can destroy a Land that is also a Creature, but Woodfall Primus could not because it specifies "non-land" target.

Note that this ability does not end at the end of turn or when Nissa leaves play.

"Untap up to 4 Forests."

You may untap up to 4 targets with the subtype "Forest". This includes cards like Dryad Arbor , Murmuring Bosk and Savannah as well as Forests and Snow-Covered Forests.

"Search your library for any number of basic land cards, put them onto the battlefield, then shuffle your library. These lands become 4/4 Elemental creatures with trample. They're still lands."

Grab as many basic lands as you like from your library and put them directly into play. I believe the wording is such that those lands then "become" 4/4 Elementals with trample, meaning that they will not "enter the battlefield" as creatures but in stead enter as lands that then become creatures. This change only effects the lands you grab with this ability. As with the first ability, they are still lands but are also creature and are thus subject to creature effects like summoning sickness.

Correction: Woodfall Primus says "noncreature", not "nonland."

In the future, please ask better (more specific) questions. This is pretty vague, and explaining everything about a card takes quite a bit of time and effort on the part of those who would like to help you.
