Let's say i use Banishing Light, Skybind or Silkwrap to exile a card from the battlefield. Can i use this card to trigger Wasteland Strangler, or any other of the eldrazi ETB abilities?

Yes, you can. Any card that is exiled, regardless of how it got there, whether via Banishing Light, Merciless Eviction, Worldgorger Dragon, or Karn Liberated, is in that respective player's exiled zone. All those cards are available to effects such as that from Wasteland Strangler.
