Does this go infinite?

So I was looking up information on The Chain Veil and seeing in anyone has any combos and I found a combo that claims to go infinite but I am pretty sure doesn't. It says to run Teferi, Temporal Archmage with The Chain Veil and Thran Dynamo. It says you use Teferi, Temporal Archmage's +1, then activate The Chain Veil using a land and Thran Dynamo using your extra trigger to -1 Teferi and untap two lands, The Chain Veil and Thran Dynamo?
The reason I don't think it works is because you would need to copy The Chain Veil's ability to repeat both a +1 and a -1 but I wonder if I am mistaken. Cause otherwise you would eventually drain the loyalty counters from Teferi, Temporal Archmage

No it doesn't work and I have clearly shown the steps you would do below.
1) Use Teferi, Temporal Archmage's +1
2) Tap Thran Dynamo to add to your mana pool
3) Tap 2 lands to add to your mana pool
4) Use The Chain Veil's ability, paying for it with your
5) Use Teferi, Temporal Archmage's -1 ability untapping 3 lands & The Chain Veil.
6) Tap 2 lands & Thran Dynamo to add to your mana pool.
7) Use The Chain Veil's ability, paying for it with your
8) Do option b or a
8a) Use Teferi, Temporal Archmage's +1 - You can't do anything more because everything is tapped
8b) Use Teferi, Temporal Archmage's -1 to continue this process until Teferi's loyalty counters run out because you can only afford to do the -1, not the +1

I will say that while it's not infinite, having done this in a superfriends commander deck every time I've gotten Teferi, Temporal Archmage + The Chain Veil it's been profitable enough to secure a win with other walkers if not just going infinite with such things as Contagion Engine + Everflowing Chalice, but this is getting more into deck construction advise than rules. And as said, if Teferi, Temporal Archmage is your commander it is actually infinite.

I don't run him as a commander and honestly didn't think about that when considering this a combo. I just wondered if it would work in my Atraxa, Praetors' Voice deck. He is still an amazing card but not able to go infinite in my setup. Thanks though!

Eventually yes, but ideally one of two things will be true. The most common is Teferi, Temporal Archmage will be your commander, so you'll be able to recast him from the command zone once he's drained using the lands you untapped. Because he's a new instance, you'll be able to activate him 7 times thanks to the 6 Chain Veil activations you did in his first life. This will allow you to + and - him enough to recast him while paying the commander tax, getting even more activations in his next life and cards from the +s. Alternatively, if he's just in your deck (such as if your not playing commander), you'll have another planeswalker or a source of proliferation so that you get something each time through the loop and it's profitable even if Teferi does die.
