Do nonbasic lands that have been 'turned' into basic lands still retain their abilities?

Just as it reads. Say I play a Blood Moon , while I have say a Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle , on the field with 4x Mountains. Then I drop an Evolving Wilds . Do both the Valakut, and the Evolving Wilds retain their abilities so that Valakut's ability will activate because the Evolving Wilds will count as a Mountain, as well as Valakut itself?

well, actually inkmoth nexus isn't an articfact, desbipte being colorless.
I believe the answer is no, I'm not sure but I remember reading that people win games in legacy with blood moon, or Magus of the Moon , because, almost all lands players use in legacy are nonbasic, nonred decks would just be turned off with this card, not being able to cast anything...

The trick here is that Blood Moon doesn't just add Mountain to nonbasic lands, it explicitly turns all nonbasic lands into Mountains. Your Valakuts and Evolving Wilds will all be considered just Mountains until Blood Moon leaves play. In short, Blood Moon makes every nonbasic land a copy of a Mountain for as long as it's in play, and that means they copy every attribute of a basic mountain: Type, Color, and (the lack thereof) Abilities.
They are still nonbasic lands because Basic is a supertype that isn't explicitly linked with the 5 main land types, despite nearly always appearing right next to them. Basic lands are only lands with the Basic supertype, and currently there is no way of granting Basic to a land that doesn't have it.
The reason why it works differently from the Tezzeret/Inkmoth combo is because Tezzeret's combo only sets part of the card's characteristics: It gives it the type "Creature", and sets its power and toughness to 5/5. It doesn't do anything else.
For your lands to retain their original abilities, the effect needs a different wording. If Blood Moon said "All nonbasic lands are mountains in addition to their types" then you would be able to use them as normal. Compare this to Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth which lets everything function as normal, with the added ability to tap for Black as well.

Reason I ask is the Tezzeret, Agent of Bolas /Inkmoth Nexus combo. You activate Tezzeret's '[-1]: Target artifact becomes a 5/5 artifact creature.' to make the Inkmoth a 5/5 Flying, Infect, artifact creature.
So why wouldn't Valakut and Evolving Wilds/Terramorphic Expanse retain their abilities.
