Can you play more than one non-basic land.

Asked by 9Breaker 9 years ago

Ok so I have one Swamp and two Bloodfell Caves turn one; can I play my one Swamp as a land drop and then both of my Bloodfell Caves since they are a non-basic land?-Thanks for your time! :D

You can only play one land (whether basic or non-basic) per turn, unless you have a card that says otherwise (e.g. Summer Bloom).

No. You are only allowed to play one land per turn. It doesn't matter if they are non basic or basic lands. You can only play extra lands if you have a card like Exploration.

The one land a turn rule still applies to non-basic lands. You can only play one land from your hand per turn.

Certain cards like Explore will let you play an extra land during the turn you cast it.
