Are the abilities of a creature with shroud protected from spells like Disallow?
Asked by MrFrees 8 years ago
In a previous game I've had, I used Kaalia of the Vast equipped with Lightning Greaves and swung. My opponent used Disallow on her triggered ability. I cannot find anywhere if the abilities are protected or not. As of now, I'm leaning towards not, but still not sure.

please link all cards in your question:
Shroud simply prevents the creature from being targeted. It does not change anything about that creature's abilities, so they can still be countered by Stifle type effects.

In the future, please link all cards in your question. It makes it much easier for us to understand what's going on if we can see the cards involved. You can link cards by using double square brackets: ===code Island ===endcode Island
Kaalia of the Vast
Lightning Greaves
Disallow
Shroud means this permanent can't be the target of spells or abilities your opponents control. It has nothing to do with abilities originating from the shrouded permanent.
