Actually, I'm on par with twin. It isn't an easy match-up, but it's winable.

Now I want everyone to imagine a world where Ensnaring Bridge costs 2 mana.
Also, does anyone else think it's a little weird that I keep hunting for shocklands when the Modern decks I'm building (Affinity and Lantern Control) are primarily colorless and don't use shocks?

If Bridge costed two mana, I wouldn't care a hoot. I'd just play my four mana sorcery or attack with Hierarch. Easy game.

6tennis what happens if I play storm or Jace or Abrupt Decay or anyone of about a billion cards that are legal in legacy that get around it. Plus your deck is running One with Nothing :)

Any number of decks that contain no creatures would disagree with you. Bridge is a brick against a lot of things.

LiveForChaos:I am by no means an expert, but I do have some advice. It's a little clunky, but a very good core idea. You can very easily get the point across. I made an alternative poem structured around yours if you care to see it below. I am not at all saying that it's better, just that )in my opinion) it flows a little better.

This, I think, spends less time explaining what is happening to the narrator, and more time for the reader to add his/her own input. Thoughts? Again, not saying it's batter at all.

Hey, how many people would want to help make a deck that is intended to be horrible to people better at doing so? Specifically by cutting cards from it. I don't want to show it to the general public just yet because it's a deck that I don't own yet and I always feel weird asking for advice on decks I don't have.

Hearthstone players: Given that I do not want to spend money on the game if at all possible, would you advise saving my gold to open the wings of Naxxramas/Blackrock Mountain or just playing Arena a bunch? I'm trying to work my way into Demonlock, which does require a few Naxx cards, but getting that much gold seems like a terrific slog. My guess is that the guaranteed pack I get from each Arena run will give me enough dust to craft the cards I need anyway.

I hate MMO games, or whatever stuff that looks like LoL is called. Fighting/shooting games are also not my jam. Sports, adventure and turn based strategy mostly.

Magicrafter I talked to my doc about melatonin cuz I had been using it for three weeks and wanted to know exactly what the side effects were since it is literally the only over the counter hormone you can buy.
Apparently if you take like, 2-3mg a few hours before bed, it's "probably" fine. However, some bottles come in 5mg tablets. And... that can fuck with your body really badly. In fact, there really isn't enough data to say that the 2-3mg tablets don't fuck with your body.
As to what it does? Well, I didn't understand all of the specifics, but if you take too much it causes a chain reaction in your body, eventually ending up fucking with your pituitary gland in your brain. And then it ends up with you lactating. Even if you're a guy. So yea, I decided that i'd rather be a little sleep deprived than chance that happening.

So i've been working on a U/R Nin, the Pain Artist Tiny Leaders deck, with the win con being any combination of: Comet Storm, Banefire, Rolling Earthquake, Ghitu Fire, Magmaquake, Invoke the Firemind, and most importantly: Recall. The rest of the deck is card draw, removal, and artifact ramp.
Iceberg is super cool in the deck, as it really powers up the burn spells and can be pumped if there's nothing to do, and Scorched Earth is great for getting rid of problem utility lands.
