The Spoiled Besieged cards

What does everyone think of the 4 cards already shown by WotC for Mirrodin Besieged?
I am seriously liking the Phyrexian cards for sure so far.
oh yeah, the booster pack thing
they're going to be selling Faction based booster packs, one for Mirrans & the other for Phyrexians
Whichever faction sells the most, that side will win the war, and the third set in this Block will be fashioned to whatever the faction is.
If Phyrexia wins, the third set will be called New Phyrexia, but if Mirran wins, it'll be called Mirrodin Pure
I don't have 100% proof on this, as i present no sources, but I've got to say, its an excellent and lucrative way to progress the story.
it also gives the possibilities in the future, to revisit the entire SOM Arc, to show what would have happened if the other side had won.

I don't think so, because if that would happen, then the designers and the developers would not have time to finish the set (8 months of design, 6 months of development?) because the time frame from Mirrodin Besieged to MP/NP is fast. (MB comes out on 2/4/11, Action comes out on 5/13/11).
Then again, they could have created both sets at the same time..

thats what i'm thinking, they created the sets at the same time
and the set that they didn't use, (or in this case the faction that didn't win) they could bring back in one of their From the Vault Series or something
idk how'd they do it but if they did it that way, it'd be cool

The new spoiled cards definitely make me think that the g/w precon deck will be infect, the u/b precon deck will likely be the new living weapon (and not proliferate sadly), the U/R deck will be metalcraft... again..., and finally the w/r will be battlecry cards.

Speaking of Living weapon, I think it is a very interesting and powerful ability.
Turn one 1/1 might not be to much, but the fact that you now have an artifact on the field, that can attack next turn, and proves useful after it dies by equipping it to, say, Kemba seems very useful.
At first, Hero of Bladehold and battlecry seemed pretty weak, but now that I am seeing this new knight, I would imagine a battle cry ultra aggro deck would have quite a bit of power.

I want to try to forge a B/W OR B/U/W infect battlecry deck, that would be sweet.
Also, tez is gonna have a massively SICK living weapon ability. Count on it!

Does anyone else think the white infect guy is really powerful, especially for being a common? He's out of bolt range, has vigilance so he can be used as an attacker and a blocker, and really forces your opponents to decide how many times they can afford to block it or be blocked by it. Matter of fact, that plus the addition of Phyrexian Crusader, giving infect first strike, could be a really big push for infect.

Infect still needs a one drop, WoTC knows us infect players are knocking down their doors for it, they better deliver!!!
January 10, 2011 12:36 p.m.
Indeed, the Priests of Norn look incredibly powerful and have the potential to really deal some damage, It is just the fact that it is white, which misses out on the infect lord, and Skittles.
Perhaps when white or artifact infectors with real potential come out, B/W or W/G infect will become a powerful thing.

I believe the priests of norn could be a common if it wasn't a three drop, a four drop would have been a better choice because by then people may have two or more creatures that can deal the four damage necessary to defeat him, but then again, playing infect against infect, it would lose to cystbearer if it tried to attack twice.

I personally think that Karn is still good just because that throne would be difficult to get out of. Also, you cannot see any phyrexian symbols on him anywhere. Also, I don't think that he's evil is that if he was evil he would probably be able to get off that throne, but by the looks of it, he's latched on for good, but that may be just me being all hopeful, who knows, maybe he has a lot of power sitting down in a black whole in a chair no one could stand up in with latches of metal attached.
I also hope he's not evil because Venser is an awesome character, but I'm guessing if Karn is Phyrexian, then he'll persuade Venser to join them and I'll punch all Karn cards in the face.
