Brushland, Caves of Koilos, ect weak?

I was searching around for some more lands for my EDH deck and I found this cycle. I figured they might be cheaper than the shocks or temples, and I find out they're barely $5.
Usually, good cards (esp. dual lands) have a pretty decent price, so I figured it's the power level of the card. Is the 1 damage each time really enough of a drawback to make the card considered weak?

If you're asking about how a card is in the context of a specific format, please post in that format's forum. Moved.
The pain lands are solid choices for any multicolored EDH deck. They aren't weak at all.

Actually, Epochalyptik, I meant in general. I just mentioned it as an explanation.
I've just noticed that the lands are modern and legacy legal as well, and, while I don't know about legacy, I rarely see the cycle used in modern.
It just seems strange that a cycle of dual lands that enters the battlefield untapped isn't $10+ like many other kinds of dual lands.

They're cheaper because of the aforementioned "land type" so they aren't able to be fetched by Verdant Catacombs and co. The only decks I've seen them in are budget decks.

The fast lands (e.g. Copperline Gorge ) outclass it in Modern, and Legacy laughs heartily at it. They're good in EDH, but relatively weak by comparison elsewhere.
I'll move this back to General.

These are commonly referred to as "Pain lands". Their major weakness was mentioned previously about the fetch lands like Misty Rainforest not being able to find them. And as epoch pointed out they arent fast enough for modern and the lands available in legacy just point and laugh. I run all of the compatible pain lands in my EDH decks but they are quite hard to come by in my area because they are so budget friendly.

Besides what has already been mentioned I would probably say that another reason the pain lands are cheap is because they have been reprinted numerous times.

No they aren't weak, they come in untapped and produce two colors of mana. That's not weak at all. If they were basic land types as well "swamp" or "forest" they'd probably be triple or higher the price they are. There is no reason not to run them especially in a format with 40 life.
