Gray Merchant of Asphodel , i just noticed that I really don't have a way of dealing with gary in my naya blitz deck:
hide yo kids, hide yo wife, the blitz is coming
would it be wise to run 2 Warleader's Helix to help fight off Gary? or can I kill off MBD before gary lands? or would Skullcrack be a better option?
what to take out though? go down to 2 each Lightning Strike and Magma Jet to add 2 Warleader's Helix ? I don't mind the 4 drop, because I can still hit them and gain life post turn 4

I would remove the 4 Soldier of the Pantheon , I don't know about you, but I don't see many multi-colored spells being played in mbd, besides the Nightveil Specter which should be your high priority target with Lightning Strike . It's the matchup here you're worried about, don't go 1-1 for same type of spells.

hrm, wait till more multicolored decks surface? just pack removal in place of the Soldier of the Pantheon ?

yep, I probably would do that, though r/g matchup has a few good multi-color spells and effective in blocking brooke and tokens by Xenagos, The Reveler . But I think his use is later in the block when minotaurs become a thing. I see him a lot, but the only card that he needs to be effective against is pro-white... sure esper has a lot of mult-colored spells, but esper doesn't care about you gaining life.

yeah, cause she sort of reminds me of brooke shields. Not 1:1 mind you, but enough that I can see it. (saw the other thread).

Skullcrack to negate the lifegain. thats what usually kills

Warleader's Helix and Skullcrack would be the better option, he's why MBD is bending everyone over the table and smacking that ass. The only real answer to him is to keep him from entering the field at all or keep their devotion down enough that it only gains 1-2 life and that much lost.
