Chord of Calling or Genesis Wave

Deck Help forum

So now that Chord has been spoiled I feel like ....

.... I CAN'T EVEN.

The deck I'm currently running is

Gaia's Revenge Playtest

Modern* Caligula

SCORE: 21 | 0 COMMENTS | 1491 VIEWS

and now that Chord of Calling has been spoiled I'm not sure what would work better.

I'm abusing Genesis Wave at the moment and using it to hit Akroma's Memorial and fill the board.

But sometime's I don't draw into Primeval Titan and he's a big player in the deck.

So I guess my question is. Do you think it's worth it to try and squeeze a few Chords in here?

I'm confused. Your deck is a modern deck. Chord was already in modern. Why does it being spoiled have any new impact on the decision?

Probably because it will be cheaper and easier to get a hold of.

Definitely Genesis Wave over Chord of Calling in this style deck. You aren't looking to tutor up any creature specifically, just to build a huge board state. Chord of Calling is much better in toolbox strategies with lots of silver bullets, which your deck does not have much of. You're much better off going with Wave for your game plan (and perhaps some Eternal Witness to keep your chain going in the same turn).
