All Will Be One + Elesh Norn

Returning player here - quit after Oko release/ban.

Any ideas to make both cards playable in one deck? I thought it's a no brainer with both abilities, but i struggle to find the pieces in between to make the deck work and not die on turn 4-6.. My current idea is a Boros Control deck.

(For the love of god how tf do i post a deck on this forum i dont get it.........)

Arena RNG blessed me with mostly Green and Black cards, but i would like to play something like above in Standard Ranked; or long term in Explorer Ranked. Got a few Mythic Wildcards and don't want to waste them on flavourful cards who won't work out yet. But any idea is welcome to make something work with both cards.

If you click on the folder icon in the top right, one of the green buttons is Create Deck. Copy and paste this list into the Mainboard and Maybeboard tabs, add a description, and hit Save.

Disclaimer: I don't play Ranked anything. Suggestions may be underpowered or janky. There are a few cards in Standard that trigger both Elesh Norn, Mother of Machines and All Will Be One with an etb trigger that puts counters on something. The big difficulty I see with going this way is that both of your key cards cost five mana, so you won't be seeing the full effect for several turns. Serra Redeemer with the key cards turns a Boros weenie deck into an all-out blast, but it's also five mana.

Other possible directions could be an artifact deck based around Dragonspark Reactor, or landfall and Felidar Retreat. Either way, Mechanized Warfare seems like a shoo-in. Elesh Norn is more of a value card, while AWBO is a finisher, so getting them to link up properly will take some work.

The big problemI see is that these two cards are trying to do very different things, and each want to be enacting their own very distinct and different gameplan.

You’re trying to jam two cards together that don’t inherently have any synergy with one-another, and then trying to force that deck to work.

Them both being 5 mana only exaggerates the issue.

Imo just choose one of these cards to build a deck, instead of trying to cram them both together. When deck building you’re always better-off starting with a clear plan.
