This deck is all about gaining benefit for only having one creature. In theory, it is very very hard to pull off. Turns out, it's also very hard to pull off in gameplay. The idea is to use things like Alchemist's Apprentice, Frost Breath, and Bloodthrone Vampire to stay alive until the five drop, when Homicidal Seclusion andLone Revenant, Demonlord of Ashmouth or Gryff Vanguard can be played. Once you have a creature and homicidal seclusion, you can gain back most of the life you lost very easily. After playtesting at FNM, that is confirmed. It boils down to: If you have lone revenant and homicidal seclusion, you win the game. sure, a sweep effect will kill one of them, but theres three more in deck and plenty of just as big creatures to take its place. Even if it is blocked before you can put Predator's Gambit on it, you gain life with lifelink and survive long enough to put Vanguard's Shield, and Unhallowed Pact in play, and replace the solitary creature should you lose it. Right now it pulls a win in one in three games. I want to make it run better and be victorious more often.
