Modern Matches: 2-3 —June 29, 2015
Burn: 2-0
Self explanatory. I've never lost to burn.
Amulet Bloom: 1-2
G1: Just died to Prime Time
G2: Got the god hand and won on T3.
G3: Dragged it on and took him to 1 life, but a Dragonlord Dromoka came down to stabilise him. He took 10 minute turns to figure out whether he could not die.
Restore Balance: 2-0
I figured that I was dead to Balance, so I just didn't play around it and aggro'd him to death.
Jeskai Control: 0-2
G1: Flooded super bad
G2: See G1
Bogles: 1-2
G1: Typical G1 win with Archangel and flying 2/2s
G2: Kept a no lander on 5 with all 1 drops, but didn't see anything.
G3: Flood. No gas.
I feel that I just got bad luck against Control and Bogles, and things definitely could've gone different if it weren't for mana issues. When I saw Secure the Wastes, I was always happy, and it performed brilliantly against every matchup.

Maringam I'll do that, but I like people to know what set I use. Many people don't recognise older set symbols.

You know you are becoming a token deck now. You should reconsider Martyr of Sands's true value now. I am thinking more health dorks might make more sense.

landstalker10 If 5 token spells makes it a token deck, I guess Abzan midrange is also tokens. We're running token generators because the value they provide against various strategies is very, very good. Resolving a Secure against control will force a board wipe, or if they can't do anything, you win. Procession is one of the best cards to put underneath a Windbrisk, because it can pump Pridemate pretty well. The tokens play into our strategy, rather than detract from it, and Martyr is still important to give us early advantage.

For the desc, instead of putting Mirage Plains, you can put [Plains (MIR)] which turns out like this: Plains
