A long overdue update —April 10, 2020
About a year-and-a-half ago, I entered a 5k tournament and finished in the top 4. Since we split in the top 4, it meant I had $1000 I could spend on magic cards. I got my second and third Volcanic Island, second City of Traitors, and some other modern staples. Now I have the base to build most versions of the deck, and once I get a few Badlands to build legacy reanimator, I'll have every legacy deck I want :)
Arcane Artisan makes a good addition to the SB to get around Containment Priest and other similar effects, but is already starting to see less play. I don't often follow legacy (modern is more my jam), but I try to keep up with this deck whenever I can. It's my go-to deck whenever the monthly legacy event occurs at my LGS, and I still love it today just as much as when I first built it.
