Oooh, I like the look of Wake the Dead and Xathrid Necromancer. I might take that into my deck. +1 for that.

I reckon Spoils of Blood would be a good addition here. If you have time, could you take a look at my Tartarus Sauce and give it your thoughts?

Yeah, when A) over half your deck is Humans, and B) your whole strategy revolves around those creatures dying, Xathrid Necromancer really pulls his weight. Spoils of Blood is very much worth considering - I tend to undervalue those kinds of cards (same with Quest for the Gravelord, which I see you run). I'll see if I can slot it in!

Really like your take on athreos. I built one myself but not sure which direction to take it.. How does this aggro version hold up against other decks? Do you think this is one of the better versions of the deck? Also, why no lili, ajani or even urborg tomb of yawgmoth?

Unfortunately I simply haven't found the time to play the deck at all, or any other Magic for that matter, since I built it. I'd like to know how it holds up too, especially in comparison to a more 'goodstuff' build. I don't have Liliana of the Veil because I can't justify spending that much money on a card, and Ajani, Caller of the Pride just doesn't really do much. On T3 I wanna cast Athreos, and T4 two two-drops if I can, and go from there. Obviously his -3 is stupid with an online Athreos, but it's not a guarantee. Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth is a maybe, but I don't really have issues with black sources, and the main benefit to running Urborg (Cabal Coffers) is too risky to run.
