Exactly. I am not a fan of Tormenting Voice in this deck, probably would just play more Stoke the Flames and Seeker of the Way . Daxos of Meletis isn't really doing anything either.

GlistenerAgent im running Daxos of Meletis for a little life gain engine. He just seems good to me and iv been trying to find a deck a one of can work for him. and Tormenting Voice is a card i fell in love with because of drawing two for two mana, plus its red. it reminds me of one of my favorite cards, Faithless Looting . i may consider dropping one however for a forth Stoke the Flames though. Thanks for the input!

Is it really drawing Cards ? You Cast (1 card) and discard another card (2 cards) and you draw 2 cards. so you basicly looted ?

Faithless looting seems way superior, because you draw before discarding, so you can get rid of crap cards or in other words, you get the best draws possible, unlike Tormenting voice, where you discard before drawing :/

And ofc there is Flashback, but that doesent matter because its not legal anymore, but i wouldnt play Tormenting voice, just saying.

InsaneWayne i was just saying it reminds me of it. that sixth land i keep as a bluff does work for me to get two new cards.

Has Daxos of Meletis ever been good for you, and in what situation? I find that he constantly gets blocked by either tokens, Sylvan Caryatid or Courser of Kruphix . Also, I typically want to use mana pre-combat to clear the board for my side to swing in, leaving very little mana afterwards to cast the free card he gets.

Daxos of Meletis has helped me in game situations against any sort of mid-range players. Most people where I play are not going a serious aggro rout, so he helps. If my opponent is aggro however, he is easily sided out for the following games.
