Adding more Planeswalkers! —Feb. 4, 2015
It's hard to take out cards that are pet cards, but sometimes you need to try hard and evaluate your cards to make sure it's doing what you want a card in that slot to do.
OUT - Ajani Steadfast Smoke Beast Within
IN - Freyalise, Llanowar's Fury Ob Nixilis of the Black Oath Sorin, Solemn Visitor
Reasons for each:
Ajani Steadfast doesn't do anything if he's the first planeswalker on my board. He just doesn't do enough.
Smoke This is cute and helpful to keep myself and my Planeswalkers alive, but all of my wrath effects do this also and more completely.
Beast Within is great, but I play an almost fully sorcery speed deck and I just needed more than a spot removal effect.
The 3 new Planeswalkers I'm adding all protect themselves and do other useful things with their other abilities. That's enough to earn a trial shot.
