Post tournament tweaks - True Final Form —Feb. 11, 2019
I'm fairly certain my current list is less than 3 cards off/flex from what I think the final form of this deck should be.
Took this to a standard event with 20+ players, 4-0 after 4 rounds and lost in the 5th round but still placed 1st. Beat rd1 drakes, rd2 sultai krasis, rd3 orzhov aristocrats, rd4 undergrowth golgari, lost to esper midrange in rd5.
The Immortal Sun was dropped for Sorcerous Spyglass because of Hostage Taker. Devious Cover-Up ultimately too slow and inconsistent, dropped for more cheaper interaction. 1 copy of Wilderness Reclamation is correct.
This deck has great plays against everything in the field and can shore up it's weaker match ups against low curve aggressive strategies post board. It is a really great mix of control elements, tempo plays, and card advantage plays in Frilled Mystic and Hydroid Krasis. I have no doubt it is on the same level as sultai krasis decks and is highly competitive if piloted correctly.
