Mainboard and Sideboard changes —Aug. 9, 2015
After some more thought I think I need a few more cards that are useful against control that isn't running Jace, Vryn's Prodigy Flip (in other words, control match-ups where I should side out Searing Blood). I really missed Magma Jet after cutting it from the main so I'm going to put two copies in the side replacing 2 copies of Surge of Righteousness. This gives me a useful card against control while also keeping that spot useful against Mono-Red Aggro.
I'm also dropping the Pyromancer's Goggles count to 2 instead of 3 and adding the 4th copy of Stoke the Flames. I'm tentative in doing this but I think I should try it. Pyromancer's Goggles is one of the strongest cards in the deck but getting multiples can be devastating.
