I plan to keep the text boxes completely empty so that does restrict the use of cards like Ruxa, Patient Professor or Jasmine Boreal of the Seven. Perhaps someday we can get these effects on an artifact or enchantment!

You can use double square brackets around a card's name to create a reference link. It's the best way to help everyone understand what's going on in your question: Kemba's Banner, Jasmine Boreal of the Seven, Glimmer Lens

The Banner doesn't interfere with Jasmine's effect. It isn't giving the equipped creature an ability, rather it's just doing something to the equipped creature with its own ability just like Glimmer Lens does. A card like Hexgold Hoverwings does interfere with Jasmine's effect because it specifically gives the equipped creature the "flying" ability.
