Thanks for the suggestions Ookafont! I actually JUST cut Barbed Batterfist but this is still a pretty rough-draft-y list and i think it could be a nice card in place of Lembas which has felt a little slow where at Barbed Batterfist hits the ground running a bit faster. Foundry Helix is sweet but reduces Experimental Synthesizer’s draw consistency by being 3 mana. Faithless Looting is a pretty goated red card and i think id be more inclined if i was running Lunarch Veteran Flip in addition to Sacred Cat but the deck doesnt benefit enough from gy stuff in its current state to feel like its quite worth it.

Hey I love this build, combines some of my fav competitive pauper concepts, could I reccomend Barbed Batterfist or Foundry Helix? barbed works well with returns. also maybe Faithless Looting? not neccesary but I love it in almost any red deck.

I don't know if it's necessarily better than Shrapnel Blast but Foundry Helix could be a good card in this deck
