Thanks for the suggestions Ookafont! I actually JUST cut Barbed Batterfist but this is still a pretty rough-draft-y list and i think it could be a nice card in place of Lembas which has felt a little slow where at Barbed Batterfist hits the ground running a bit faster. Foundry Helix is sweet but reduces Experimental Synthesizer’s draw consistency by being 3 mana. Faithless Looting is a pretty goated red card and i think id be more inclined if i was running Lunarch Veteran  ^Flip in addition to Sacred Cat but the deck doesnt benefit enough from gy stuff in its current state to feel like its quite worth it.

Hey I love this build, combines some of my fav competitive pauper concepts, could I reccomend Barbed Batterfist or Foundry Helix? barbed works well with returns. also maybe Faithless Looting? not neccesary but I love it in almost any red deck.

I don't know if it's necessarily better than Shrapnel Blast but Foundry Helix could be a good card in this deck
