Whenever Sigrid, Heretic Warrior dies you may exile it instead, if you do create a 2/3 red and black demon Beserker creature token with menace.

I like this kind of challenge, even if I’m not the best with lore.

Not a particular good example to use Fasting to denote a non-specific counter name...
Instead there's City of Shadows or Divine Intervention . I have to specifically use the old card as they have since received errata to either put Storage counters on the City and Intervention counters on the Intervention.

Great idea! Love the monks/religion theme.
Fasting, Asceticism, Quiet Purity, Purity, and Sphere of Purity would fit well.

You know what would be hilarious? Mystic Decree. That would put this into the combo category. Also, Godhead of Awe would make it so that if you DO get hit, it's nothing a little Fasting cant fix. But really, it's a really cool budget-mill out the opponent deck.
