Refraction Trap

Instant — Trap

If an opponent cast a red instant or sorcery spell this turn, you may pay {{W}} rather than pay Refraction Trap's mana cost.

Prevent the next 3 damage that a source of your choice would deal to you and/or permanents you control this turn. If damage is prevented this way, Refraction Trap deals that much damage to target creature or player.

Didn't see much for , decent amount of though.

Batwing Brume, Comeuppance, Acolyte's Reward, Channel Harm, Divine Deflection, Vengeful Archon, and Refraction Trap.

If you wanted to take this further Pariah or Pariah's Shield on Stuffy Doll is fun. Most Stuffy Doll effects get attached to red but it would redirect damage rather efficiently compared to some of the instants above.

Everything looks good except maybe the enchantments. They are kinda out of place, and it would probably be better to just have something like Goblin Bushwhacker/Reckless Bushwhacker in there for even more aggro

Also Lightning Helix is a pretty cool card

As for the sideboard:

1: Deflecting Palm Ian a seriously underrated budget Sideboard Card, 10/10 highly reccomend

2: You probably want a sweeper like Pyroclasm, Volcanic Fallout, or Anger of the Gods. These three are each good in a different meta

3: I’ve seen went Wear / Tear played a lot in these decks for affinity and Bogles matchups

4: Mirran Crusader is hella good against jund, but doesn’t do much else in other matchups

5: I don’t know dont know what your budget is but Stony Silence would help out a lot against KCI and affinity

6: Abrade is a pretty versatile card

7: for whatever reason, Refraction Trap seems to be getting a lot of play right now as an answer to other aggro decks

Arrow Volley Trap? Baloth Cage Trap? Definitely Booby Trap. Cobra Trap. Leonin Bladetrap? Refraction Trap? Slingbow Trap for sure. Summoning Trap, only if you have enough creatures for it to be worth it. Trap Digger if you go non-modern. Trap Runner too.

Also, adding any of the other colors isn't awful - blue in particular has some good traps to offer, and red and black have a handful too.

Well, the problem with exalted decks is that a 1/1 creature can prevent a whole lot of effort and 100% of your damage. SO how do you change that? Silent Arbiter only accentuates the problem, Athreos, God of Passage is lackluster to say the least.

The cheaper option (which is the point of this deck) is the BW one, so lets go with that.

You need 4 of each 1 mana exalted dudes. Duty-Bound Dead and Akrasan Squire. 52 cards left.

Lets go with the two mana ones. Aven Squire, Knight of Glory, Knight of Infamy leaves us with 40 cards.

Final creature to add is 4 Sublime Archangel since it gets us evasion and a huge power boost. 36 cards left.

Next round up your protection/breaking through suite. 4 Path to Exile, 4 Emerge Unscathed, 2 Ajani, Caller of the Pride, 4 Go for the Throat. 22 cards left, all of which should be lands of Orzhov variety.

For the sideboard, go for some more early interactions that deal with different threats. More protection (3 Brave the Elements, 3 Refraction Trap), more removal (3 Vendetta is awesome for an aggro deck), graveyard interactions (3 Relic of Progenitus) and artifact/enchantment interaction (3 Disenchant).

Loxodon Smiter is very good against the GBx decks. Also Kor Firewalker is much better than Phyrexian Unlife. Refraction Trap is one of the worst magic cards I've ever seen. You probably want maybe like 2 Ghost Quarter for decks like Infect, Affinity, Tron, and Eldrazi and you can cut the Dryad Arbor, it isn't really needed in a deck like this with 4 BTEs.

I've never been a fan of BtL in this deck, you already run 8 3 mana versions of this spell and you don't really have other things the tutor up, if you ran say, hero of bladehold, huntmaster of the fells, or other such 3-4 mana win condition. Oh! I almost forgot to recommend Refraction Trap for the sideboard, really good in the burn matchup.
