Your decks are amazing and flavorful. Keep up the awesome deck brewing!

Deathstroke2791 people do play Back to Basics in my play group, however due to how tuned our decks are, it's not a show stopper. It is mildly irritating at best and its only expected in Urza or other high powered mono blue decks in the cEDH meta and I am running more than enough ramp/counters/removal to get around a Back to Basics. The deck's average cmc is 1.73 and doesn't have a problem when starved of mana through things like Winter Orb , Tangle Wire , Smokestack , or what have you. It seems odd, but most 4 and 5 color decks in the cEDH meta are running few to no basics, maybe one or two depending on the color pie of the deck. I need the support of mana that can tap for at least one of two colors and does not come in tapped for the deck to run smoothly, so having all non basic lands is the way to go. Thanks for the insight! Also, if I were to run any basic lands, it would only be one of each color at max. A lot of cEDH decks are set up for Consult/Pact lines so they can't run multiple of a single card. This deck can also support a Tainted Pact win line, but its not currently in the deck because flash//hulk is more resilient and strong.

ah, my apologies, I was thinking of a different card.

So there are a lot of different combos with Yarok. Firstly, I recommend Palinchron as it will allow you to get infinite mana way easier, all you need is Yarok out for it to work. Use your infinite mana, with Yarok out, cast Venser, Shaper Savant to return any permanent you want to their owners hand (You target the permanent with one trigger and Venser with the second); you can also do this with Capsize . Deadeye Navigator is a great synergetic card with the deck, as it lets you continue to abuse etb effects over and over again. I strongly recommend Eternal Witness as you are going to need to recur stuff from your graveyard.

Finally, I suggest you check out my Yarok deck! I've been brewing the deck since 2017 and used to have a different commander at the helm, but Yarok fit way better. I've been playing Sultai for years, as it is my favorite color combination, and go very in depth in the primer. Yarok - ETBDSM PRIMER

Keep abusing those ETBs my friend.

Also perhaps a Parallel Lives or Doubling Season to help make your big hydras even bigger?

Maybe throw in Hinterland Harbor for some faster mana instead of temples, unless you really enjoy the scrying mechanic. Or perhaps take out 4 forests?
