Two Creatures With Quietus Spike

When two creatures with
Quietus Spike
attack:
- both creatures assign combat damage at the same time
- afterwards, both Quietus Spikes trigger after one another.
Latch Seeker and Gudul Lurker are both equipped with Quietus Spike and assign combat damage.
Enemy has 20 life:
(-3) + (-1) = 16 life.
1QS > 16 - 8 = 8 life.
2QS > 8 - 4 = 4 life.
Is this correct?

Yes, that's entirely correct. It doesn't matter what life the opponent was on when the Quietus Spike ability goes on the stack, only when it goes to resolve.
