Meren, Legendary Rule, legendary procs and Mirage Mirror in the end step.

If during the end step I tried to use Mirage Mirror to copy Meren of Clan Nel Toth, would I be able to proc a 2nd return at the cost of the Legendary Rule destroying my mirage mirror?
Also, if I did copy a legendary on my field and then something else, would the legendary rule still demand the destruction of a legendary of that name, at this point being the only one on my field.
Finally, could I proc other legendary affects on my field at the cost of mirage mirror? Or is this all undoable because the legendary rule interrupts any intended procs?
I imagine no, yes, no, but I couldn't find the first situation anywhere (though I'm on my phone) and figured I'd ramble my musings to you. Thanks for the help all!
Thanks for the input, I think that's for the best. It would have been to strong to abuse it like that. Though fun!

Small side note about terminology: "Proc" isn't the best word to use when describing triggers in Magic. A true proc only has a certain percentage chance of going off when the given event happens, but triggers in Magic occur every time the event happens.

Also as a side note:
Even if you were able to keep a second Meren of Clan Nel Toth say with a Mirror Gallery, if you used the Mirage Mirror to copy Meren of Clan Nel Toth on your end step, you still would not get the second trigger.
Triggers will not happen retroactively, so since the beginning of your end step has already past, the second Meren of Clan Nel Toth will not trigger her ability.
The latest you can use Mirage Mirror's copy ability for a triggered ability that triggers at the beginning of the end step is during the second main phase before entering the end step (assuming everyone else passes priority of course).

The Legend Rule is a state-based action. It is checked any time a player gets priority, before they have priority, as soon as Mirage Mirror resolves, SBAs will be checked and require that the controller sacrifice all but one permanent with the name of the legend. So you wouldn't be able to get multiple triggered abilities triggering for a single legend that you copied.
