Angel of glory's rise hitting more than 1 creature with ETB effects

Asked by Pygmyrhino990 6 years ago

Say I cast Angel of Glory's Rise and in the graveyard I have Champion of the Parish and Fiend Hunter. Do I get to choose (assuming it is my turn) which order the creatures enter the battlefield in, or do they enter simultaneously and CotP doesn't get the ETB effect?

They enter simultaneously and Champion of the Parish does get its ETB trigger. Objects that enter the battlefield at the same time can "see" each other enter and can cause each other to trigger.

To elaborate, triggered abilities such as the ones you mentioned will trigger off other creatures entering at the same time. These abilities can be identified by starting with "When" or "Whenever." Replacement effects will not apply to other creatures entering at the same time (Such as "Other humans you control enter...").
