Is TappedOut Trades Dead?

The Trading Post forum

Hoping this isn't the case cause I've just updated my binder. Looking for fetches, shocks, etc but not picky, willing to do value trades. Let me know if you want anything!

I hope not :(. But has been very dead around here lately. I still check for trade posts probably daily.

On a related note i took a look at your binder and I didn’t see anything I’m looking for at the moment, sorry!

It seems like you need to post to get traction nowadays. I'm not sure if the Discord channel has been taking away casual views from the site itself over the last year or so. Since there isn't a trading section in the Discord, I think trading is just about the only thing reason people look at this site nowadays other than the basic decklist organization stuff. I'm willing (and hoping) to be wrong though since this site is gas most of the time.

Seems like it is, but have a go at my binder (updated today) if you like. I have recently traded with Gemini successfully, though.

I also routinely check T/O for trades. It's pretty much the only thing I do on here anymore. :/

Trades opportunities have declines recently (IMHO). I have interest in 6 or 7 cards from what you have. I am not as active on here as i used to be. I think I've traded with all of the posters above besides yeago. My binder is not up to date at all. I tend to trade a lot in real life, and have 24 edh decks currently. So between work, family, FNM, and commander on Saturday nights - I've not has time to keep my binder upto date. Do you have a wants list? What your prefered format is?

If you are from Europe and not from North America, it has not been alive either :)

Unfortunately it has trailed off somewhat, but for me part of that is less opportunity to play which has slowed my updates to my binder and deck lists as well. I have confidence that yeago can implement improvements to get us back making more deals though.

The trade binder system used to be different. Personally I didn't like the changes and I stopped trading at that point.

@yeaGO If you could please change the binders so that a card that's not on the haves list but is on the wants list doesn't show an icon in the haves (and vice versa), that would be greatly appreciated. As is, it's hard to look through the lists and see whether something is on haves or wants in a glance.

To try to explain, for example:
Snapcaster Mage -- H[2] W[0]

would become:
Snapcaster Mage -- H[2] W__ (blank)

And:
Snapcaster Mage -- H[0] W[2]

would become:
Snapcaster Mage -- H__ W[2]

Also, being able to sort by the number of haves or wants used to be functional. It no longer works correctly. As is, trades dont work as good as it used to, imho.

True. I really liked how going to someone's binder used to put any matches that you both had in your haves and wants at the top of the list. It made it so functional!

@GeminiSpartanX I had forgotten about that! Yes, it was always great.
