Current Standard Deck Types?

I haven't been up to date on Standard since around the time Khans block was coming out. I'm thinking about getting back into the game, but I have no idea what the meta is today.
What deck types work in Standard these days? Is the new Tamiyo good? Can mill work at all?

some peeps were using Drake Haven with a lot of cycles on game day at my lgs.
as well as mardu vehicles, marvelous energy and 1 guy ran delirium

You can mill pretty aggressively if you get Ulamog out. Turn 4 Aetherworks Marvel into him, blow up some lands, and start exiling 20 off the top each turn. 3 swings and you've got a mill win (provided the damage didn't kill them first)

Problem with this suggestion in the current meta is that people now have By Force.
I am also predicting more Creature Exile cards, due to the Gods. Stuff like Declaration in Stone, Oblivion Strike, etc.
So, if you go with that strategy, pack lots of Counter spells as well.

Now I just gotta relearn deckbuilding entirely. OTL Any advice? There's so gosh dang much in Standard right now! Where do I even start?
I do remember having a big crush on Tamiyo when she first came out. I might try and build something with her in it? I'm not super good with White though, so I'm not sure :/

Deck building, GOOD deck building, is nothing that I can explain to you in fifty words or less.
My advice - choose a card you love and build your deck around it.
Then ask for help in the Standard deck forum. People will be able to suggest some of the staples for you, if you have overlooked them.

If you want to use Tamiyo, try Bant Control. Green for ramp, Blue for countering stuff, and White for removal

Mono U control is viable right now with cards like Engulf the Shores, Pull from tommorow, Torrential Gearhulk, and the new two mana force spike called Censor; which is a cycling counter spell. Also glimmer of genius is a great draw spell for a dynavolt tower deck. I believe someone mentioned it abov. The deck to beat right now is Mardu Vehicles. It uses very aggressive creatures, an evasive flyer, and one kick ass Gideon planeswalker.

The format is very aggressive, at the moment.
Any card is good, in the right deck.
I don't see many people playing Tamiyo. Takes too long to warm up.
Mill is probably too slow, but there are LOTS of good Mill cards around, at the moment.
