I heard there is a way to win with scapeshift and you search for 5 land and only 1 of those lands being Valakut, the molten pinnacle. Every way I think of it you can only hit for 15

Not necessarily only 5 lands. Plus alot of times you would scape shift and get like, 4 mountains and 2 valakut to deal 24 damage or more

When multiple Mountains enter the battlefield simultaneously, Valakut sees all of them. For example, you control a Mountain , a Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle , and five Forest s. You Scapeshift the Forest s into five Mountain s, and Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle sees all of them enter at the same time. Each is counted as one Mountain out of six, so each one will cause Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle 's triggered ability to trigger. The end result is five instances of 3 damage to a target.

Note that for Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle 's ability to trigger, you need to control at least six Mountains. The ability specifies the triggering Mountain and at least five others.

Only way to do exactly that is to have Prismatic Omen so Valakut counts as a mountain, causing all of the mountains to be the crucial 6th when they all enter simultaneously.

Same with the 4 and 2 example from the first response.
