Bloodbraid Elf all the way. I did an alter of this card once and it was one of the best alters I've ever done.

clayperce I usually opt for old school, and I can certainly respect that choice, but in this case I like the planechase artwork way more. There are a few cards like that where I like the reprint artwork more than the orignal. Ponder and Terminate are other examples. Also Karakas. I'm trying to get a judge foil right now because they're dirt cheap (relatively) and beautiful.
