Green/White Gearhulks in Kiki-Chord.

Hello planeswalker.
I'm currently on the Kiki-Chord/Evolution trip and the new gearhulks got me excited. The Verdurous Gearhulk and the Cataclysmic Gearhulk got my attention. How good would they be/would they help in certain matchups?
Let me hear what you think!
I basically agree with the post above. Cataclysmic Gearhulk deserves a spot in your 75 and you should be editing your deck accordingly, but Verdurous Gearhulk doesn't do much for you unless you can blink him over an over again, and Kiki Chord typically has all of 2 blink outlets.

The more I think about it the more interesting Cataclysmic Gearhulk seems in Kiki-Chord. Especially when it works on so few recources once it goes off, never considered it, nice catch EpicFreddi

Cataclysmic Gearhulk is good in a lot of matchups that punish us for getting behind on board, ex: bant eldrazi. It's a pretty good way to recover on board and begin to start taking the game back. It also happens to go great with Restoration Angel and Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker. Probably not in the maindeck, but a good option in the sideboard. Verdurous Gearhulk doesn't improve the deck at all where it needs it.

Yep, it's a quality sideboard bullet. Better than Reveillark if you ask me.

Reveillark has a different function than Cataclysmic Gearhulk, I don't think they're really comparable. They are two entirely different cards.

Yes, Reveillark is supposed to help you grind out the likes of with value plays while Cataclysmic Gearhulk punishes go-wide aggro and decks with things too big for you to block, I'm aware. But you need more help against the latter than you do the former (Engineered Explosives is nice, but it doesn't do squat against Eldrazi), and you can only have so many 5-drops.

But they work great together thinking about it.
Evo the Witness, get revaillark. 2 turns later, cast hulk, sacrifice revaillark, get back witness+x, have a great day.
And yes, it's a best case scenario. Let me dream.

I'm an avid kiki chord/evolution player.
Cataclysmic gearhulk seems interesting at least in the side, possibly in the main depending on your local meta. verderous gearhulk doesn't do anything. it's just beef which is not what the deck wants

Cataclysmic Gearhulk has a case, especially against all-in style decks. I just can't see Verdurous Gearhulk as it's only 4 +1/+1 counters for five mana.
