Go read the Uncharted Realms for this week and feel great.
Narset meeting Sarkhan? Narset and Zurgo having a scrap? And Sarkhan walking THROUGH TIME! It's everything you need, that you didn't know you needed.
So there is a mention of narset having a spark. I wonder if her being injured causes her spark to ignite, or if her injury/possible death is just going to be reversed by sarkhan going back in time.

Sparks are ignited by usually great trauma, not just injuries.

I don't know what Narset was thinking, it was clearly Zurgo's turn, he was indestructible. Fighting was a bad idea.

It's definitely cool, but I am worried about Narset and if she's alive in this version of Tarkir. Because odds are, we won't be seeing this cast of characters again until Dragons of Tarkir, and they will be different.

Also, Zurgo's a dick. Not as much as Heliod, but still a dick.

Funny how Zurgo is just hiding behind a rock waiting for Sarkahn up in the the Temur Frontier. Then Narset goes and pulls a Obi-Wan Kenobi.

I think it's assumed he's dead or dieing, but I could see her at the brink and that could (could) mean her spark is close to igniting.

I would love to see Narset as a planeswalker. We don't often get 3 color planeswalkers. In fact, isn't Nicol Bolas the only one so far?

Fulcrum, I believe you're right about that. In fact I think Ajani is the only other one to ever be in three different colors. Just not all at once

I kinda don't want Narset to be a walker. Yeah, it would be super sweet to see a Jeskai Planeswalker for the first time, but I actually think it's even cooler to see someone with a latent spark, and still kick ass.

I think I remember them saying there was a fair possibility of a three color walker around the time panels for Khans were happening. Based on the story, it could be Narset in Dragons of Tarkir. It could also be a new Bolas in Fate Reforged, to go along side Ugin.

Since the future will be changing, I don't think it really matters whether she survived Zurgo or not. I read it as a sacrifice to buy Sarkhan the time he needed to time travel.
Narset seems likely to be in DTK, perhaps as a planeswalker. If so, I'm guessing she won't be tricolor.

Anything but a tricolor would feel like something was missing, but on the other hand, we don't have any living U/W walkers.

Narset should stay like the BAMF she is. I'm with GoldGhost012: I love kick butt non-walkers, who tussel with walkers. It's like she brought a knife to a gun fight, then made every feel silly for bringing a gun to a knife fight. Narsets awesome that way.

is what I'd bet on if she gets a planeswalker card in the future. She doesn't seem very red in the first place, and KTK is supposedly the only wedge set in this block.

jr92_2000 - Just because Dragons of Tarkir/Fate Reforged aren't wedge sets doesn't mean we can't have a wedge card in them. Look at the Nephilim in Ravnica, Ravnica is about 2-color pairs, and the nephilim are 4 color creatures. It's totally within the realm of possibility for us to get a Wedge planeswalker in FRF or DTK.

FRF could have wedge cards, but it'll probably be in the same template as Yasova Dragonclaw. I wouldn't expect Narset to be in FRF anyway since it's taking place in the past.

jr92_2000 - Just because the wedges won't be present in DTK, doesn't mean that a wedge PW can't exist. As we all know, PW break all the rules, so a wedge 'walker wouldn't be out of the ordinary. Remember that Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker was put into a core set that had next to zero multicolor support.

Actually judging by what Maro said it pretty much does mean that do wedge planeswalkers count as wedge cards.....yes.

If the trauma of being, y'know, mortally wounded awakened her spark, she could have made it off Tarkir and all we'd know is that she was the only Khan that didn't reappear in some revised, non-wedgey from in DTK (for example) until she reappeared in, say, two blocks' time. Which would be cool.

It does seem funny that they would mention Narset story-wise and then just kill her off like that, it's a bit anti-climactic for wizards, so I could see her coming back in some fashion and she would be perfect for introducing a 3 colour planeswalker say in the 3rd set (if Sorin & Sarkhan are time-travelling then we can allow for a gap in time potentially, as we do not know at what point in time they would return to the present) It would be pretty nuts as Narset would come back and be all "You saved the dragons, lets be friends and kill Eldrazi!"

It doesn't officially say she has a spark, but in her description on the planeswalker guide it says "Some say she may have a hidden potential, that has yet to be touched" or something like that. It blatantly points towards her having a spark.

Yeah, going back and reading it, it seems pretty obvious. First 3 colour planeswalker? Though some people are saying she might be UW

With the changes in the timeline, it may end up that she never even existed!
Alternatively... she may have never existed, but if her spark ignited before she ceased to exist, then she may have not been on Tarkir when the timeline changed, thus protecting her from the changes... hmmmmm.
The first Planeswalker to have never existed?
I believe Sorin was the first Planeswalker to never have lived...

Wow.... okay...
If it turns out that she escapes the time line alteration, but the rest of the Clans are wiped out, she would likely get really pissed at Ugin and become his mortal enemy.
Also, it would be a good thing that she's an Enlightened Master, or the thought of herself never existing could really mess her up.
