I was wondering what were your thoughts on the possible height of this card's value.

It is the perfect replacement/addition for decks that play Mana Confluence, which I can see dropping in value because of this card.

Personally I think it'll hit the height of $10-15 CAD (mostly because of the 2016 commander decks). I see Mana Confluence sitting at $7.50 CAD and believe it'll drop a couple dollars at most.

It won't replace mana confluence. Not all decks run enough artifacts to make sure it's "turned on" for its second ability. Don't think it will move confluence much at all, as most of the 3-4 color commander decks that can will use both. I think it might be a $10+ card if 3 or more color decks are common in next set. Otherwise and After rotation it will be a $4-7 card.

I think it will be played as a budget alternative to Glimmervoid in lantern control decks and affinity, and that's about it. I doubt it will outright replace anything currently in the meta.

Might replace glimmervoid in affinity tbh, depends if the life matters. Of note, you only pay life for colored mana, and in exchange you never have to worry about playing it out early and losing it

This card is not better than mana confluence in any 75 card deck that plays mana confluence. It is also just worse than glimmervoid in affinity and maybe also lantern but it is a good budget option for both. In affinity if you are losing your glimmervoid you are not winning that game...period becausr that means you have NOTHING else on the field except maybe other glimmervoids. Its not quite the same thing in lantern but I still dont see it being better than it in lantern but again a good budget option. Thats just my 2 cents.

Just logged in since posting this topic...and I gotta say I'm ashamed I didn't read the last sentence on Spire of Industry.

<_<

Thanks for your input.

The one thing I do like about Spire of Industry is its ability to make . I'm more curious to see if it will find a way into artifact-based Eldrazi decks, or if Affinity plays Eldrazi because of it.
