Needing Help on Black/Blue Budget Infect

Deck Help forum

My coworker today handed me $40 and told me to build him a deck that can win quickly and easily. So I thought to myself, unblockable infect. I quickly brewed up a deck, and as soon as I got off work; made it on TappedOut.... There is just one small issue. It only one 1 out of 6 matches when I play tested. Sure it went against my top decks, but it lost against all of them. It did beat my Slivers, but just barely.

So I need some help. I am going to be ordering the cards for him Monday. Any suggestions on how to make his deck faster but still stay within the $40 range?

I would go a more traditional route with Green/Blue Infect. Here is a deck I just through together that is $40.

And the best part is that he can upgrade it to a viable Modern deck if he wants. Here is my semi-budget list (10 < 20)and a link to THE Modern Format Primer where you can find out more about Infect in Modern.

TemnoTsar you really need to get more classic green infect in this deck. Glistener Elf and Viridian Corrupter are both cheap and good spells. Also add in stuff like Giant Growth, Mutagenic Growth.

here's the link to my modern infect deck, it's tier 1.
