TemnoTsar Deckling

I have been playing MtG casually now for about 10+ years. My biggest hobby is constructing decks and helping others construct their deck. I don't play competitively very often, and to be honest, the thought of competitive play is a little intimidating to me when I've been use to casual play with friends.

My favorite format is EDH/Commander. I like Mono-Colored or Dual-Colored decks. Five Colored decks are alright too.

I am also a huge PC gamer. Feel free to add me on STEAM: TemnoTsar. I am also on the PS4 a lot under the gamer tag: TemnoTsar.

I am also a member of PucaTrade, and all my trades will be through them. Click here to get started.

I do run Dragonstorm, and a five-six creatures that I can get out by turn 4 (hint the midrange). I run a lot of burn spells to deal with the field till I can get my big guys out. I run four mana ramp and 8 accelerate cards. I would run Seething Song, and Ruby Medallion; but both are over $1. I would also love to run Urza's Incubator, Quicksilver Amulet, and Dragonspeaker Shaman, but all of them would be over the $1 budget. When I start working on the actual deck (which can be followed in the description) I will be adding a lot of those cards in and some smaller token producers. The main goal of the deck is to keep the field clear of tiny creatures long enough to get one or two dragons out to beat face. Most of the dragons burn the field, so that will help keep me in the lead.

I do love dragons. Dragons are my second fave tribe next to rats.

You have a lot of great cards in here, but I notice some things are lacking.

Tutors: Since you run all five colors, why not run some tutors. You already have Sarkhan's Triumph, but why not run a few others. Your commander works as a tutor, but you have to get him out first, and hope that no one messes with your graveyard. I would add at least four more to your deck: Demonic Tutor, Diabolic Tutor, Increasing Ambition are some of my faves that let you add a card right to your hand. The last two are pretty cheap, while Demonic is a bit pricey.

Recursion: I see that reusing your dragons is a theme, but you only have a few cards that do it and they are all one offs. Palace Siege, Phyrexian Reclamation, and Volrath's Stronghold all stay on the field and let you use their effect over and over again. In tribal decks, I find Patriarch's Bidding to be great.

MORE Dragons: Utvara Hellkite, Hellkite Tyrant, Hellkite Charger, Scourge of Valkas, and Tyrant's Familiar are some of the better Dragons I've noticed you are missing.

Other helpful cards: Dragonspeaker Shaman and Urza's Incubator will help lower the cost of your dragons, making it easier to summon them. Dragon Tempest is just like Scourge of Valkas only it's an enchantment.

I have a LOT of other card suggestions, but I don't want to overwhelm you. I hope these suggestions help you out and if you want more help let me know. EDHREC is a great place to go to get ideas. I go there when first constructing my decks for ideas on what to put in the deck.

Okay, I will think about that one. I use Bojuka Bog to stop others who use their graveyard, but Whispersilk Cloak would be good to end games.

Thanks HotRodScott for the +1. I run a few recursion cards to keep Pack Rat and my other awesome ratties from staying dead. I might have to get my hands on AEther Vial. I never actually read it's effect correctly. The "MAY" add a charge counter really changes my view on it.

ticked-off-squirrel, thank you for the great advice again. After trying to figure out what to take out for it, I opted to put my only copy into another one of my decks since this deck runs fine without it.

I am just a 20 cards away from finishing it. After another $200ish, I'll be able to finally finish my pride and joy.
