I don't know the weaknesses and strengths of my first Legacy deck

Deck Help forum

So, as some of you may know (probably avid followers of the Legacy forums), I Hashtag-Netdeck, recently built an Aluren deck in the Legacy format.

I understand the combo (Aluren + Imperial Recruiter + Dream Stalker + Cavern Harpy + Parasitic Strix, yes I know), but what I really need to know is can my deck combat some of the most powerful decks occupying the majority of the Meta, examples:

  1. Miracles

  2. Stoneblade

  3. Sneak-and-/Omni-Tell

I haven't done any playtesting yet (except on tappedout.net, which I've heard is infamous for not-so-good-shuffling), but I do intend to proxy out the deck and test with it.

Any help, advice, or otherwise are greatly received.

Oh, yeah, and here's a Link to my Aluren deck: This is a Link to my Aluren deck.

Well first off, your first mistake was not running stasis. To combat miricals you need to counter there counters/entreat/Jace. Stone blade, my advice is to run cmc 3 or less that destroys artifacts. Only Reclamation Sage comes to mind right now. As for snark and omni-tell, I would say something that destroys enchantments? Idk, I run the best legacy deck, which is a stasis deck. Cya, need anymore help, ask Lifa, he just printed out the proxies for miricals and so did I for my stasis, so we have played a few times.

Abrupt Decay is 100% better than Sage V miracles. Honestly having played miracles for some time now I'd be siding out at least one entreat copy for something like an extra Spell Pierce and other countermagic and easily win counter-wars. Blade, another deck i have experience with might be one of your toughest matchups. They can interact with you in the same manner miracles does, however they can put much stronger pressure on you with their efficient creatures. Depending on the list's color scheme itself they may bring their own hand disruption, putting you very far behind. The show and tell decks will simply combo out a turn or two before you, with greater consistency thanks to their mountain of controls and Dig Through Times.

Btw trollslayer miracles is the best deck ;)

In your dreams, everyone knows that Stasis has the best art xP. But yea, if stasis gets going, then miricals get GONE.

Edit- who likes watermelon?

Not in my experience. A guy at my lgs ran stasis for a while and the deck really had a bad time against me (miracles).

I yea. Miricals generally beats statis(which from my limited amount of play if me versus lifa). I can also tell, that miricals is a heck of a lot harder to play. Lifa says he would hardly last 2 rounds if he played his musical deck, and that's just from the mental taxation. Now stasis, is very, VERY, fun. It is THEE control deck, where no one gets an untap phase, so hey, you want to kill my Jace? You don't have any mana. Btw Piracy sucks as a mana stealer. You stall till have goes off, which is pretty easy, and then you crush him. Very fun if you like lockout style decks. If you decide to join the dark side, come ask me. We also have cookies AND cake.
